Honestly, I’m relieved to hear that Dune Awakening Solari is getting delayed, even if it's only by three weeks. The fact that the developers are taking feedback from the beta seriously and not rushing the release tells me they actually care about the quality of the experience. I participated in the closed beta and while the game had tons of promise, there were issues — server lag, some balancing problems with spice harvesting, and a few UI glitches. So this delay makes sense.
What I appreciate most is transparency. Too often, studios drop unfinished products and fix them “live,” which makes early adopters feel like glorified testers. Three weeks isn't much in the grand scheme of things, and if it means I get a smoother launch, I’ll take it. People forget how disastrous some MMO and survival game launches have been. Dune: Awakening could have fallen into that trap, but they’re dodging it early.
I just hope they don’t push it back again without substantial reasoning. A short delay to fix real issues? I’ll support that. A pattern of repeated delays without communication? That’s when I start losing trust. But as it stands, this seems like a developer doing right by the game and the players.
