Q2 Crosshair Placement — The Silent Aim Buff

If you’ve been black ops 6 bot lobbies grinding sensitivity, warming up daily, and learning recoil — and still missing shots — then read this carefully. Crosshair placement might be the one thing sabotaging your aim without you realizing it.

Here’s the deal: good aim isn’t just about how fast or accurate you can react — it’s about how little you need to move your aim in the first place. That’s where crosshair placement comes in.

What It Means:
Crosshair placement is simply keeping your crosshair where enemies are most likely to appear — and at head or upper chest height. Most casual players walk around with their aim at the ground, a wall, or way too high. Then they flick wildly when someone pops out. You’re wasting time and movement.

How to Practice It:

Pre-aim corners
: Instead of reacting to a player peeking, already be aimed where they’ll appear.

Use the map knowledge: Predict common sightlines, headglitches, and angles. Your crosshair should "lead" your eyes.

Keep it level: Learn where head height is on every map. Practice aiming there even when no one’s around.

Why It Works:
Crosshair placement minimizes adjustment time. You don’t need to flick hard — just click. This gives you faster time-to-kill, which can win 1v1s even if your reaction isn’t god-tier.

Start thinking like a pro: aim where the fight will happen — not where it just was. Combine that with solid recoil control and your accuracy will skyrocket.
